1960s vintage deadstock Polo Barong with a covered button placket up front and smartly darted in the back with slits on each side. Gorgeous hand embroidered details along the chest, shoulders & nape. Made of chiffonille in "batok" style.
Batok, derived from the Filipino word that means "nape," is also a midway between extremes with moderate embellishments. The patterns are extended to the front shoulders and across the upper back. (via heritagebarong.com)
